Mary Karnath of Çàɬֱ²¥ is the recipient of the 2010 Jefferson Caffery Award at UL Çàɬֱ²¥. The Caffery Award competition encourages UL Çàɬֱ²¥ students to conduct scholarly research utilizing primary source materials held in the special collections area of Dupré Library. The competition is open to both graduate and undergraduate students. Karnath is a graduate student studying History. Her winning paper is The University of Louisiana’s Growth under the New Deal’s Public Works Administration.
