Eighty-seven percent of first-year students at the University of Louisiana at Çàɬֱ²¥ rate their entire educational experience as “good†or “excellent†in a recent survey.
Eighty-three percent of UL Çàɬֱ²¥ senior described their entire educational experience as “good†or “excellent.â€
TheNational Survey of Çàɬֱ²¥ Engagement conducts an annual survey. This year 362,000 students at 564 U.S. colleges and universities completed its questionnaire.
“ We continually strive to create learning environments that help our students succeed,†said Dr. Carolyn Bruder, interim vice president of Academic Affairs at UL Çàɬֱ²¥. “ It’s gratifying to know that our students rate their college experience this high.â€
Asked if they would attend the same university if they were starting over, 87 percent of first-year students said they definitely or probably would choose UL Çàɬֱ²¥.
Of the senior surveyed, 78 percent said they "definitely" or "probably" would attend UL Çàɬֱ²¥ if they were starting college again.
Other significant findings for UL Çàɬֱ²¥ first-year students include:
• 78 percent said they are acquiring a broad, general education “very much†and “quite a bit;â€
• 72 percent said they are writing clearly and effectively “very much†and “quite a bit;â€
• 70 percent said they are analyzing quantitative problems “very much†and “quite a bit.
Findings for senior students include:
• 83 percent said they are acquiring a broad, general education “very much†and “quite a bit;â€
• 72 percent said they are acquiring job- or work-related knowledge and skills “very much: and “quite a bit;â€
• 76 percent said they are writing clearly and effectively “very much†and “quite a bit;â€
• 85 percent said they are thinking critically and analytically in class “very much†and “quite a bit;†and
• 76 percent said they are analyzing quantitative problems “very much†and “quite a bit.
